Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hours to be agreed)
Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)

Join our same day courier service

Crawfords is looking for an experienced and proactive Customer Service Coordinator to support our same day courier service. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where you will play a key part in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring time-critical deliveries run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring all service updates and delays are communicated promptly
  • Work closely with the operations team to optimise service performance and keep all same day deliveries on schedule
  • Monitor live jobs and respond quickly to any issues or delays
  • Investigate and report on service failures, identifying improvements for future operations
  • Support the Head of Operations with the day-to-day running of the department
  • Potential opportunity to attend client visits as the role develops

About You:

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience working on a same day courier desk (essential)
  • Strong understanding of time-critical logistics and courier operations
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Computer literate, with confidence using systems and handling multiple tasks
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
  • Diplomatic and collaborative, with a clear understanding of internal team dynamics and operational pressures
  • Previous experience using Freedom (logistics software) is an advantage
